Suzanne Hodgson is a lecturer in children’s nursing and doctoral research in psychology. Her specialist areas of teaching combine public health, psychology, and sociology focusing on the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
She is a module leader for the public health module undertaken by the level 6 students from Suzhou in China. Her research focusses on the wellbeing of new fathers. She has links with practice partners and researchers across the country focusing on improving outcomes for new fathers and their families. She has been awarded an Inspirational Teacher Award in 2018.
