Call out to MBC members and beyond for help with men’s mental health book project

I’m a journalist (Telegraph, Guardian, Psychologies, Business Insider, Woman & Home) and author of two books promoting mental health in schools, each bringing together a whole number of charities who are working to the same end. The first (How to Create Kind Schools) showcases projects promoting inclusion and preventing bullying (featuring schools collaborating with charities like the Prince’s Trust, Carers Trust, Kidscape, Beat, Achievement for All, NSPCC and more), and the second, just out and called The School of Wellbeing, looks at ways to promote mental health in schools (and features some of the same charities plus Young Minds, National Autistic Society, CALM, Diversity Role Models, Step up to Serve, Mosaic and others).  Full details at here.

Both have led me to look more closely at men’s mental health and wellbeing and I am now working on a new project and want to talk to men of all ages and from all over the country – and signpost CALM and other brilliant charities supporting them today. I can share the details and nature of the project with you directly if you think you might be able to help.

In the first instance please do email me at jennylhulme@gmail.com, or tweet me directly at @hulmejenny.

Thank you!
