Dr Niall McCrae is a lecturer at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery, King’s College London. He has written almost a hundred papers in academic and professional journals, numerous chapters in edited volumes, and two books: The Moon and Madness (2011), and The Story of Nursing in British Mental Hospitals: Echoes from the Corridors (2016). With a keen interest in social history and politics, Niall is a regular writer for The Conservative Woman website.
