Break the Silence UK is a social enterprise from the Midlands that seeks to support male victims of domestic abuse from anywhere in the country.
Break the Silence UK was founded by Lee Marks and Josh Munro following the release of their book “Break the Silence — a support guide for male victims of domestic abuse”. The success of this and the emails received showed that the support they could offer was needed.
This led to the launch of their website and several other opportunities, including providing training to organisations across the country to learn how to better engage with male victims and how to meet their support needs effectively.
The experience the organisation has to offer (Lee being a qualified life coach and NLP practitioner and Josh being a qualified IDVA, both with years of experience in this field) means that they are able to support those who contact them with a wide variety of issues, from understanding domestic abuse, keeping safe, contact with children and general emotional support through the various mediums they use.
